In this role, you will set up and operate CNC Swiss lathes and other machinery to produce high-quality components, contributing to our legacy of manufacturing excellence.

Duties
  1. Set up and operate CNC Swiss lathes and other lathe types (2-4 axis, 5+ axis) to produce precise parts.
  2. Program and operate machinery using G-Code and M-Code.
  3. Prepare machine setups for efficient production runs with high accuracy.
  4. Read blueprints and technical drawings to understand specifications.
  5. Perform calculations for dimensions and tolerances using shop math.
  6. Use CAM software for programming and optimizing machining processes.
  7. Maintain and troubleshoot machinery to ensure smooth operations.
  8. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency.
Requirements
  1. Experience in CNC machining, especially with CNC Swiss lathes and versatile CNC lathes (2-4 axis, 5+ axis).
  2. Knowledge of CNC tooling, G-Code, and M-Code protocols.
  3. Ability to execute machine setups for production.
  4. Ability to interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
  5. Strong shop math skills for accurate calculations.
  6. Basic proficiency with CAM software.
  7. Familiarity with brands like Nakamura, Star, Eurotech, and Tornos is a plus.
  8. Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
