Job summary

Kelly in Charlotte, North Carolina is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform quality inspections on precision spring products and ensure compliance with customer and company specifications. This temp-to-perm role offers $22.00-$24.00 per hour based on experience and a Monday–Thursday 5:00 AM-3:00 PM schedule with four 10-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• 5 years of quality inspection experience in manufacturing.
• Experience using a shadow graph/comparator.
• Understanding of basic geometry for part inspection.
• Hands-on inspection and springs load testing.
• Basic computer skills, especially Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and dependability.
• Long-term growth with the company is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections on precision spring products ensuring specs are met.
• Use a shadow graph/comparator to inspect parts and verify measurements.
• Conduct load testing on springs.
• Read and interpret basic geometric requirements for inspection criteria.
• Document inspection results and quality data accurately.
• Use Excel and other basic programs to enter and track data.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to identify issues and drive improvements.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area in an industrial environment.
