Atomic Filament is seeking a motivated Spooling Machine Operator in Kendallville, IN to set up and run spooling equipment, ensure precise winding, and monitor quality across production runs. Qualifications

• Prior experience operating spooling, winding, or similar industrial machinery preferred.
• Read and follow work orders, production schedules and safety guidelines.
• Stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks in a manufacturing setting.
• Maintain quality checks and document production notes accurately.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor spooling machines to wind filament onto spools accurately and efficiently
• Inspect finished spools for quality, consistency, and proper tension throughout the production run
• Monitor material feed and adjust machine settings to maintain product specifications
• Track and record production output, waste, and any equipment issues in production logs
• Follow all workplace safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals
