Job summary

South Phoenix Oil & Gas Company is seeking a reliable Shipping & Receiving Technician to support daily warehouse operations including inventory handling, order fulfillment, and outbound shipping. The role requires hands-on warehouse experience and comfort with an ERP system in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of warehouse/shipping experience, forklift certification or ability to obtain it, and is able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

Basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel, or similar systems).
Forklift experience preferred; ability to obtain certification required.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
1+ year of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory experience preferred.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems and data entry.

Responsibilities

Pick, stage, and kit mechanical and electrical components using work orders and Bills of Materials (BOMs), ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Receiving incoming materials and accurately enter transactions into the ERP/MRP system.
Locate, identify, and track inventory using part numbers, storage locations, and system data.
Organize and maintain warehouse inventory to support efficient material flow and accessibility.
Prepare and stage materials for production and outbound shipments.
Assist with packaging and processing domestic shipments.
Apply FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory practices to ensure proper stock rotation.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in alignment with warehouse standards.
Prioritize tasks based on production and shipping needs in a fast-paced environment.
