Job summary

Evolving Solution Services is seeking a Warehouse Associate to perform routine shipping and receiving duties and support daily warehouse and production operations. You will verify materials, record transactions in ERP, and prepare outbound shipments while maintaining safety and organization on site.

With 1–3 years of related experience, you will read packing slips and bills of lading, operate forklifts, and ensure accurate inventory control.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred.
• Basic knowledge of shipping, receiving, and inventory control processes.
• Ability to accurately read packing slips, bills of lading, shipping labels, and part numbers.
• Forklift certification required or ability to obtain certification within a defined timeframe.
• Experience using ERP or inventory systems preferred (SAP a plus).

Responsibilities

• Receives incoming materials and verifies quantities, part numbers, and condition against shipping documentation.
• Records receiving transactions accurately in the ERP or inventory system.
• Prepares outbound shipments by picking, packing, labeling, and staging materials according to instructions.
• Loads and unloads trucks using appropriate material handling equipment.
• Moves materials to designated storage or production areas.
• Maintains accurate inventory records and assists with cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Reports damaged materials, shortages, or discrepancies to the Shipping & Receiving Supervisor.
• Ensures materials are properly identified, labeled, and stored.
• Follows established safety procedures, including forklift, PPE, and material handling requirements.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Supports production and internal departments by ensuring timely material movement.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
