Job summary

Allied Stainless in Ball Ground, Georgia is seeking a dependable Shipping & Receiving Associate. This hands-on role requires warehouse experience, attention to detail, and teamwork to manage incoming and outgoing shipments.

Responsibilities include inspecting shipments, packing orders, operating forklifts when needed, and maintaining inventory records. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and pass a background check and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience is required.
• Shipping and receiving experience preferred.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Basic computer skills and experience with inventory systems are a plus.
• Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments.
• Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders for shipment.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (preferred).
• Maintain accurate inventory records and shipping documentation.
• Organize materials and keep the warehouse clean and orderly.
• Work closely with production and purchasing to ensure material availability.
• Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
