Job summary

Franklin Precision Castings is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Quality Inspector to join our team. The role focuses on inspecting finished products for quality, preparing items for shipment, documenting shipping records, and assisting with deliveries when needed.

Working Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM, you will verify order accuracy, ensure proper packaging, and maintain clear records. A valid driver’s license and willingness to train are required; strong attention to detail is essential

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies or defects.
• Ability to carefully read and follow purchase orders, prints, routing instructions, and other production/shipping paperwork.
• Basic computer skills and ability to accurately enter information into company systems.
• Basic math

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished products for defects or damage and remove nonconforming items before packing.
• Verify shipments against orders, prints, packing lists, and documentation for accuracy.
• Confirm part numbers and quantities match customer requirements before packing and shipping.
• Prepare packaging procedures to protect products during transport and ensure proper labeling and documentation.
