Job summary

L&H Industrial in Sheridan, WY is seeking a Shipping/Packaging Tech to join the team. You will paint, inspect, and package cylinders and parts for shipment, ensuring quality and timely delivery. Forklift operation and route awareness are essential to load and unload trucks safely.

Requirements include at least 2 years of shipping/receiving experience, the ability to lift 75 lbs, and strong communication. The role demands dependability, multitasking, and ability to work in varying weather

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in shipping and receiving.
Ability to lift 75 lbs.
Excellent communication both verbal and written.
Self-motivated, dependable and flexible.
Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
Ability to operate forklifts and overhead cranes (as applicable).

Responsibilities

Paint, inspect, and package all cylinders and parts for jobs to be shipped for proper specifications.
Know how to use the shipments list to have parts ready to load on trucks.
Know which trucks go to which routes.
Load and unload trucks; move parts throughout the facility as directed.
Maintain oil in forklifts and keep the paint booth clean and organized.
Cross-train in assembly and verify parts stamped with the job number before shipping.
