Qualifications

• Read drawings, routing notes, and instructions to determine forming requirements.
• Carry out sheet metal forming, press brake, rolling, and fabrication tasks.
• Measure parts with calipers, tape measures, squares, and protractors for tolerances.
• Identify defects and communicate issues to supervisors for corrective action.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Cincinnati press brakes, rolls, shears, band saws, drills, forklifts, overhead cranes, and various hand tools safely and effectively.
• Select proper dies, tooling, and machine settings to complete work accurately and efficiently.
• Read and interpret drawings to develop forming details for components.
• Assist with or independently perform layout, forming, press brake, rolling, shearing, sawing, drilling, and related tasks.
• Maintain quality by measuring parts and ensuring conformance to specifications.
