The role requires strong blueprint reading, precision, and the ability to work with press brakes, shears, rollers, punches, and other equipment, with 2+ years in metal fabrication and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in sheet metal fabrication, metal forming, welding, or related skilled trade.
• Strong blueprint reading skills to interpret drawings and fabrication prints.
• Knowledge of cutting, bending, forming, fitting, and assembly of sheet metal.
• Mechanical aptitude with hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain a safe work environment per safety policies and PPE use.
• Fabricate, lay out, cut, bend, form, fit, and assemble sheet metal from engineering drawings.
• Interpret engineering drawings and fabrication prints.
• Operate sheet metal fabrication equipment (press brakes, shears, rollers, punches, notchers, ironworkers).
• Complete precision fabrication while meeting quality standards and schedules.
• Verify dimensions with measurement tools.
• Finish components by grinding, deburring, and sanding.
• Install fabricated parts into assemblies and communicate discrepancies.
