CADREX Manufacturing Solutions in Bloomingdale, IL is seeking a Precision Sheet Metal Manufacturing Engineer I to develop and implement optimal manufacturing processes aligned with product specs and quality standards. You will coordinate launches, improve workflows, and train team members to meet efficiency and cost targets.

The role emphasizes designing, testing, and deploying new methods, with a focus on cost-reduction, quality improvement, and production efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in a sheet metal fabrication environment.
• Proficient in 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred) and blueprints.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Read and understand blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, designing, modifying and testing methods and equipment.
• Evaluate existing processes and workflows to identify improvements.
• Lead process improvement, problem resolution and project management.
• Improve processes for cost-reduction, quality, and efficiency.
• Prepare and present plans and coordinate deployment including training.
• Coordinate manufacturing launch of new or revised products.
