Job summary

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Basic computer skills (data entry) are required.
• Must be able to perform intermediate arithmetic including decimals and fractions.

Responsibilities

• Operate sheet-fed offset presses and read work orders to determine setup specifications.
• Start machines and run trial runs to verify accuracy of setups.
• Monitor machine operations and adjust to ensure print quality and color accuracy.
• Follow all standard operating procedures and maintain quality throughout the run.
• Maintain daily production records and pass along customer artwork in good condition.
• Keep the work area neat and perform routine maintenance/troubleshooting.
