Camel Manufacturing is seeking a Sewing Machine Operator to efficiently operate sewing equipment, ensuring high-quality seams and precise alignment under production standards. You will read work orders, cut and align fabric, and inspect finished products for consistency.

The role emphasizes manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with single/double needle sewing and serging in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to read work orders and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Operate sewing machine to join fabric materials (vinyl, canvas, coated fabrics, etc.).
• Measure, cut, and align fabric pieces per work orders and patterns.
• Inspect seams and welds for strength and quality.
• Maintain clean, straight sewing lines and defect-free results.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance and report malfunctions.
• Follow safety procedures and keep area organized.
• Assist with additional fabricating tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Other duties as assigned.
