Qualifications

• Must read blueprints, work orders and cutting specifications.
• Experience with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape).
• Strong safety awareness in a fast-paced steel environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate band saws, cold saws and cutting equipment.
• Read work orders and blueprints to determine cutting dimensions.
• Measure, mark and cut materials with accuracy to minimize waste.
• Adjust blade speed, angle and feed rate for optimal performance.
• Inspect finished pieces for quality and report defects.
• Perform routine maintenance and blade changes.
