TAIT in Lititz, PA is seeking a Saw Operator responsible for identifying, collecting and issuing materials per blueprints, and accurately logging hours. You will read blueprints, set up and run industrial saws, and use precision tools to ensure parts meet tight tolerances.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; manufacturing saw experience preferred.
• Willing to train for industrial saw operations if no prior experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and diagrams.
• Knowledge of measuring instruments like calipers and tape measures.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.
• Proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams with limited assistance from others.
• Identify material and tooling requirements.
• Set up and operate a variety of industrial saws.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate material cutting.
• Manufacture parts to documented tolerances.
• Handle inbound and outbound logistic requirements.
• Monitor machines and adjust for speed, feed, and blade tensions to boost quality.
• Conduct quality checks at assignment completion and report concerns.
