Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred experience: 5 years related work experience in paint.
• General knowledge of hand tools & paint shop equipment operation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare area(s) to be painted by cleaning, sanding, patching, and masking surfaces.
• Select and mix paints using automated equipment according to a formula.
• Monitor spray equipment, adjust flow, air, and temperature for optimal application.
• Maintain inventory of paints and painting supplies.
• Follow OSHA/MSDS guidelines and ensure proper ventilation in work areas.
• Prepare and apply stencils or decals on finished products.
• Keep painting areas clean and organized, and handle storage and disposal per regulations.
