Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED; 3+ years installing bearings on high-speed equipment; 2+ years installing drive components, belts, and couplings with alignment.

Responsibilities

• Review work orders and pull required parts from inventory.
• Assemble components to ensure proper fit, alignment, and function.
• Test assemblies with engineering support and document results.
• Follow safety protocols when handling parts ranging from 1 lb. to several tons.
• Meet standard assembly times and on-time delivery goals.
• Install bearings using hydraulic presses, induction heaters, and hand tools.
• Align direct and belt-drive systems.
• Set proper bolt torque and clearances.
• Uses cranes, hoists, and lifts safely.
• Wire junction boxes and install small control panels as needed.
