Honor Plastics & Molding in Pomona, CA is seeking a Quality Inspector to inspect, test, measure, and review the final product during manufacturing to ensure quality standards are met. You will read blueprints, understand specifications, and document dimensions and results for each batch.

Responsibilities include rejecting nonconforming parts, performing first article inspections, maintaining logs, and proposing improvements to the production process.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
• Experience or strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques.
• Knowledge of complex blueprint reading and inspection methods.
• IQMS, CMM and RAM experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Read blueprints and specifications to understand product requirements.
• Visually inspect final product and perform hourly rework as needed.
• Measure critical dimensions every 2 hours and record in the log.
• Prepare start up and retained samples during shifts.
• Maintain equipment and documents used during manufacturing shifts.
• Record data, perform statistical analysis, and compile reports.
• Generate shift reports and inform supervisor of runs and problems.
• Perform first article inspections against blueprints and customer requirements.
• Reject nonconforming final products and inform shift supervisor.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance quality control.
• Resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.
• Ensure proper handling of start up samples and retain samples.
• Carry out additional duties assigned by Quality Assurance Manager.
