Job summary

Unirac is seeking a Quality Control Technician to inspect inbound and outbound materials, perform in-process inspections, and release approved material in the ERP system. You will document nonconformances and assist with MRB activities while supporting shipping documentation and KPI reporting.

The role requires reading drawings, using calipers and other inspection tools, and maintaining accurate quality records in a manufacturing/warehouse environment. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in manufacturing or quality inspection preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret basic drawings and specifications.
• Proficient with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of ERP basics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect inbound and outbound materials for quality, dimensional attributes, and quantity.
• Perform in-process inspections of fabricated, assembled, and packed material.
• Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and inspection requirements.
• Release inspected material in the ERP system from Quality to Inventory.
• Identify, document, label, and segregate nonconforming material.
• Support MRB and material-hold activities as assigned.
• Provide fulfillment verification (shadow) of picked and packed orders and shipping documentation.
• Validate pallet counts and packing lists for vans and flatbeds.
• Assist in researching customer complaints and quality issues.
• Provide accurate inspection data supporting KPIs and other quality metrics.
• Follow established quality procedures, work instructions, and safety requirements.
