Job summary

Hamilton Connections is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will perform inspections from job instructions, blueprints, and procedures, using calipers, micrometers, gauges and scales.

The role supports receiving, in-process and final inspection, and requires reading drawings, maintaining accuracy, and passing eye color vision test. Candidates should have at least 3 years in manufacturing and high dexterity for small parts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge/experience with electrical measurement equipment and hand-held gauges including micrometers, calipers, gauges.
• Ability to read blueprints, mechanical drawings, inspection manuals and procedures.
• Always maintains accuracy and attention to detail and completes tasks in a timely manner.
• Ability to pass the inspection eye exam (including color vision test).
• Knowledge of dimensional, visual and mechanical inspection processes.
• High level of dexterity to inspect small parts.

Responsibilities

• Read job instructions, blueprints, and procedures.
• Perform inspections using conventional layout inspection techniques and equipment (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Support receiving, in-process and final inspection.
• Create, complete and compile documentation related to Quality Inspection standards.
• Assist others with inspection techniques.
• Support other Quality Department functions as needed.
