Job summary

CPV Manufacturing, based in Pennsylvania, is seeking an Inspector to ensure conformance of materials and products to drawings and purchase orders. The role involves inspecting parts from vendors and internal shop, with emphasis on dimensional verification and quality records.

You will perform First Piece, In-Process, and Final inspections, maintain accurate records, and support audits while adhering to safety procedures in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of related job experience.
• Calipers, gauges, micrometers, and comparators tools experience preferred.
• Programming and ability to operate CMM preferred.
• Attention to detail; accuracy and thoroughness.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Responds to requests for service and assistance.
• Observes safety and security procedures.
• Gathers and analyzes information skillfully.

Responsibilities

• Inspects material, part or assembly for workmanship and visual defects.
• Verifies specified dimensions of product or material.
• Compares product with parts list to ensure completion of assembly.
• Rejects defective parts, and records type of defect on part, container or inspection tag.
• Keeps legible and complete inspection records per inspection work instructions.
• Supports and actively participates in customer and regulatory audits/inspections.
• Is familiar with ISO 9001 requirements and works within company workflow instructions.
• Conducts Roving, First Piece, and Final inspections.
