Job summary

Abacus Corporation, a family-owned staffing leader with 80+ years of experience, is seeking a Quality Inspector to join the team in a manufacturing setting. You will inspect incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure conformity with drawings, specifications, and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of inspection experience, proficiency with calipers, micrometers, gauges, and related tools, and is capable of interpreting blueprints and quality

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–2 years of quality inspection, quality control, manufacturing, or production experience.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments preferred.
• Experience with quality management systems, compliance standards, and documentation processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
• Verify products meet engineering drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Utilize precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Identify, document, and communicate quality concerns in a timely manner.
• Escalate non-conforming conditions and assist in implementing corrective actions.
• Support compliance with company quality systems, manufacturing standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Train and mentor team members on inspection methods, drawing interpretation, and quality procedures.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation.
• Participate in preventive maintenance and calibration activities for inspection equipment.
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and SOPs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
