Job summary

The role requires experience with CMMs (prefer FaroArm), GD&T (ASME Y14.5), and CAD tools, plus strong attention to detail and clear documentation of results. You will collaborate with engineering, support FAI reporting, and may participate in internal quality audits.

Qualifications

• Must have experience inspecting machined and fabricated parts to blueprints and drawings.
• Experience with GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
• Proficiency using precision measuring instruments.
• Comfortable documenting inspection results and FAI reports.
• Ability to work with engineering for issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Inspect machined and fabricated parts against quality requirements.
• Use dial indicators and portable CMM to measure dimensions.
• Inspect parts after rework or repairs to verify corrections.
• Develop new inspection techniques for efficiency and cost reduction.
• Document inspection results and FAI documentation.
