Wayne Wire Cloth Products, Inc. is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections in a manufacturing environment.

The role uses microscopes, calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools, and requires careful documentation and adherence to engineering specifications. You will read blueprints, identify dimensional and cosmetic defects, reject nonconforming parts, and support continuous improvement with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Must have manufacturing experience and be able to read engineering specifications.
• Corrected vision to 20/25 in at least one eye and not colorblind.
• Able to use microscopes for extended periods and perform basic math.
• Proficient with calipers, micrometers, height gauges, indicators, and rulers.
• HS Diploma or GED and prior manufacturing experience required.

Responsabilités

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections using microscopes and precision tools.
• Reject nonconforming parts based on dimensional or visual criteria.
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering specifications.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation.
• Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and drive improvements.
• Pull and complete pick lists for shipment authorization.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations for inspection tasks.
