Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. is seeking a Quality Inspector in Bridgeport, CT to perform dimensional and functional inspection of in-process, incoming, and finished parts to customer specifications using precision measuring equipment and gauges.

The role includes potential use of CMMs and other advanced inspection devices under supervision. You will work from drawings and written specs, record data, support root-cause analyses, and participate in cross-functional improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year as an operator/inspector of precision components.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and functional inspections to customer specifications.
• Observe safety rules and wear PPE.
• Maintain records and reports for audits and customer requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
