Job summary

Burger & Brown Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to uphold our standardized quality systems. You will inspect manufactured components, follow procedures, and ensure products meet customer requirements and delivery timelines.

The role requires hands-on use of CMMs and measuring tools, calibration verification, and collaboration across departments to resolve non-conformances, with a strong focus on accuracy, safety, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

HS diploma or GED; associates preferred.
2+ years in quality assurance/first article verification in manufacturing.
Experience with ERP software and MS Office; math and calculator skills.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Proficient in reading/using CMM, Calipers, Micrometer, and other measurement tools.

Responsibilities

Receive inspection requests from internal functions and oversee inspections at various stages (First Article, In-Process, Receiving, Final).
Follow inspection procedures and verify components meet prints and customer specifications.
Verify calibration of equipment (CMM, calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, etc.).
Operate CMM and video/vision systems for inspection tasks.
Coordinate, monitor, and report non-conformances, root cause, and corrective actions; track vendor issues and schedules.
Ensure products meet company and customer quality standards; maintain manufacturing control plan records.
Communicate clearly with peers and management; participate in safety meetings and procedures.
