Express Employment is seeking a Quality Control Technician for Grand Rapids, MN, on the Afternoon Shift. Starting wage is $18.00+/hour BOE; role involves inspecting parts and ensuring products meet customer specifications.

You will use precision measuring tools, read blueprints, document results, and collaborate with production to resolve quality issues while following established procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous quality control, inspection, machining, or manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand measurements and tolerances.
• Experience with calipers, micrometers, gauges, or other precision measuring tools is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies.
• Basic computer and documentation skills.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Dependable attendance and the ability to work independently.
• Willingness to learn additional inspection processes and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect manufactured parts and components for accuracy and quality.
• Use precision measuring tools and inspection equipment to verify dimensions.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections throughout the production process.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
• Identify nonconforming parts and communicate quality concerns to production.
• Work with production team members to help resolve quality issues.
• Follow established quality procedures and customer specifications.
