Job summary

Philips seeks a Product Quality Inspection Technician (1st Shift) to ensure quality during MRI manufacturing. You will read engineering drawings, perform precise measurements, inspect with SAP, and document results, contributing to process improvements.

Based onsite in Latham, NY, the role requires strong attention to detail, cross-functional communication, and adherence to GD&T and metrology principles. Training and audits are part of the job responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of quality inspection experience in manufacturing (preferred).
• Experience with measurement tools (micrometers, calipers) required.
• Experience with inspections and audits; training available as needed.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings with GD&T.
• Excellent cross-functional communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Measure parts and tools during manufacturing using appropriate tools.
• Perform quality inspections in SAP for inventory tracking.
• Ensure equipment calibration and maintenance; address issues promptly.
• Document inspection results clearly following Good Documentation Practices.
• Collaborate with teams and participate in audits; report issues and suggest improvements.
