Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East in Westford, MA seeks a Precision Quality Inspector to perform in-process and final inspections on precision-machined parts, interpret blueprints and GD&T, and document nonconformances to ensure quality standards.

This DIRECT HIRE role is Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, paying $25–$30/hr. Benefits include health insurance, PTO/holidays, 401(k) with match, and an annual bonus; aerospace experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of quality inspection experience in precision machining.
• Experience with tight tolerances (down to .0005" or tighter).
• Strong blueprint reading skills, GD&T preferred.
• Experience with NCRs or quality documentation.
• Aerospace industry experience preferred.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

We are actively recruiting for a Precision Quality Inspector fora manufacturing company in Westford, MA. This role performsin-process and final inspections on precision-machined parts to tight tolerances, interpret blueprints, and document nonconformances to ensure compliance with quality standards. This is a DIRECT HIRE position.

Responsibilities:

• Perform in-process and final inspections on precision-machined components to tolerances as tight as ±0.0002"
• Interpret complex blueprints, drawings, and GD&T to verify dimensional accuracy
• Use advanced measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) to ensure compliance
• Identify and document nonconformances, initiate NCRs, and support root cause investigations
• Partner with production and engineering teams to maintain high quality standards and continuous improvement
• Support quality documentation and inspection records for customer and aerospace requirements

Requirements:

• 2–5+ years of quality inspection experience in precision machining
• Experience working with tight tolerances (down to .0005" or tighter) required
• Strong blueprint reading skills (GD&T preferred)
• Previous experience in aerospace industry preferred
• Experience with NCRs or quality documentation
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently
