Qualifications

• Must read and interpret blueprints, work orders and engineering specs.
• Experience with GD&T and tolerance analysis is a plus.
• Ability to inspect welds and fabricated parts for quality compliance.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and routing sheets to determine production standards and tolerances.
• Perform first-piece, in-process and final inspections to ensure conformance.
• Test paint quality, thickness, welding quality, dimensions and fit.
• Perform weld testing (UT/PT/VT) when applicable.
• Document inspection results and nonconformances.
• Route products for re-work and communicate deviations to supervision.
• Ensure proper packaging and loading to minimize transport damage.
