Job summary

Harba Solutions Inc. in Indiana is seeking a quality inspector to perform comprehensive dimensional and visual inspections of components and assemblies in a clean room environment.

You will use calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMMs, document results in the QMS, support FAI and SPC, and collaborate with manufacturing teams to resolve issues. A strong eye for detail and ISO clean room standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Perform dimensional and visual inspections per drawings and specs.
• Maintain clean room protocols and proper gowning procedures.
• Accurately document inspection results in QMS with traceability.
• Support FAI, SPC data collection and audit readiness.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMM, etc.)
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections per engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality specifications
• Maintain clean room protocols, including proper gowning, de-gowning, and contamination control procedures at all times
• Document inspection results accurately in quality management systems (QMS) and maintain traceability records
• Identify, tag, and document nonconforming material; support root cause investigation and corrective action processes
• Perform equipment calibration checks and verify measurement systems are within tolerance
• Support First Article Inspections (FAI), Statistical Process Control (SPC) data collection, and audit readiness
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues in real time
• Maintain compliance with cleanliness classifications (e.g., ISO 5-8) and monitor particle counts, temperature, humidity, and pressure differentials as applicable
• Follow all safety, ESD, and environmental control procedures specific to the clean room environment
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation and records
