Job summary

Door Controls USA is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team in Texas. You will inspect machined parts using precision tools and Keyence optical systems, ensuring compliance with drawings and specifications.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in QC, strong GD&T knowledge, and excellent attention to detail. You will collaborate with machinists and engineers, maintain calibration, and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least two years of related experience.
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools.
• Experience with optical comparators and Keyence systems.
• Strong GD&T reading and interpretation.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem solving.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional inspections of machined parts using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other precision measurement tools.
• Utilize and program Keyence vision measurement systems for advanced inspection tasks.
• Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications to ensure compliance.
• Document inspection results, maintain accurate records, and prepare quality reports.
• Identify and report non-conformances, assist in root cause analysis, and support corrective actions.
• Collaborate with machinists and engineers to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
• Maintain calibration of inspection equipment and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
