Job summary

NOV is seeking a QC Inspector in Shreveport, LA to ensure product quality through thorough component inspections, meticulous record-keeping, and adherence to company policies. The role focuses on final inspection and documentation, with opportunities to enhance processes and team skills.

The position requires 5+ years of hands-on dimensional inspection, GDNT drawing comprehension, and knowledge of MTRs/NDT certificates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of hands-on dimensional inspection experience with precision tools.
• Ability to read and comprehend GDNT drawings and critical dimension reports.
• MTRs and NDT certificates knowledge.
• Coatings knowledge is a plus.
• Strong documentation and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections on components.
• Perform source inspections at facilities.
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain files of inspection documents.
• Review inspection records for compliance.
• Maintain inspection and measuring equipment.
• Prepare and coordinate NCRs for nonconforming parts.
• Record and document traceable information to certify manufacturing process.
• Comply with NOV policies and procedures.
• Monitor QA and QC aspects of required work scope packages.
• Ensure traceability of all parts and documentation trail.
