Job summary

Kelly Services is hiring a Quality Control Inspector on the 3rd shift in Chelmsford, MA. The role involves verifying materials, performing visual and electrical tests, and maintaining quality records to ensure conformance to specifications.

The candidate should have a high school diploma, 1–3 years in QC/manufacturing, and familiarity with mechanical/electronic test equipment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and good communication is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 to 3 years in QC or manufacturing.
• Familiar with mechanical and electronic test equipment.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and oral communication.
• Can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with Oracle and MES is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Verifying procured materials, sub-assemblies, finished products, and processes to meet established Quality Standards.
• Performing visual inspections, dimensional measurements, and electrical testing to verify conformance to specifications.
• Utilizing inspection tools such as rulers, DVMs, power supplies, analyzers, and fixtures.
• Documenting inspection and test results and maintaining quality documentation files.
• Processing returned materials and performing basic visual inspections of shipping materials/products.
• Reading and interpreting SOPs, PDAs, and ECOs.
• Training inspectors on standard operating procedures as needed.
• Interfacing with other departments as required.
