Job summary

Snelling Staffing Services seeks a dependable Quality Assurance Technician to join our manufacturing team. This role conducts inspection, verification, and QA activities for incoming materials, WIP, and finished products, ensuring conformance to drawings, control plans, and customer requirements.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in manufacturing, strong math skills, and proficiency with MS Word/Excel/Outlook.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.
Two to three years of experience in a manufacturing environment; metal fabrication experience preferred.
Strong mathematical skills, including fractions, decimals, geometry, and basic trigonometry.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, customer drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements.
Experience using precision measuring equipment.
Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

Inspect incoming, in-process, and finished materials against specifications, control plans, and customer requirements.
Identify and contain nonconforming material, and verify corrective actions are effective.
Prepare PPAP/ISIR documentation to support new product launches and engineering changes.
Audit manufacturing and inspection processes for compliance with procedures and customer requirements.
Maintain equipment calibration and support process capability and Gage R&R studies.
Drive root-cause problem-solving and collaborate across production, suppliers, and customers to resolve quality issues.
Perform other duties as assigned.
