Job summary

Actalent in Bedford, MA is seeking a Quality Technician to inspect incoming materials, program CMMs, and support development of inspection methods within an ISO 9001 system. You will partner with Engineering to ensure products meet dimensional, cleanliness, and ESD requirements, while documenting results accurately.

This is a permanent, on-site role in a cleanroom environment; candidates should be proficient with GD&T, PC-DMIS, Calypso, and MS Office, and able to work independently in a

Qualifications

• Proficiency in GD&T interpretation and application on engineering drawings.
• Experience programming and running CMMs (PC-DMIS).
• Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and inspection documents.
• Hands-on use of visual inspection tools and mechanical gauges.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials and parts using visual and mechanical inspection tools.
• Review FAI reports and verify supplier compliance with drawings and specs.
• Program and run CMM inspection routines; collaborate with Engineering on inspection methods.
• Document inspection data and generate clear quality reports.
• Maintain inspection standards and ensure accuracy in QMS documentation.
