Job summary

The Quality Assurance Technician at The Specialty Manufacturing Company will perform receiving, in-process, first-article and final inspections, ensuring compliance with the Quality Management System and meeting customer expectations.

You will use precision measuring tools and collaborate with Engineering and Operations to identify root causes and support Lean initiatives, while maintaining accurate records on-site in a high-accuracy manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or Quality Technician certification preferred.
• Experience with QC tools and GD&T is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, in-process, first-article, and final inspections/audits to ensure QMS compliance.
• Operate measuring tools (micrometers, calipers) and advanced equipment (CMM, vision systems) to collect data.
• Identify, segregate, and report defective materials to prevent production impact.
• Maintain accurate quality records and documentation.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to identify root causes and support continuous improvement.
