Job summary

Amphenol Charles Industries is seeking a Production Operator to assemble, process, and move parts through production stages while checking quality and packing for shipping. Training may occur in related areas under supervision.

The role requires high attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with OSHA knowledge preferred. The environment is factory-based with PPE and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in plastic production is a plus.
• Previous manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Understanding of OSHA and environmental regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce the required quantity of parts within specifications and tolerances.
• Ensure parts meet fit, form, and are functional requirements.
• Inspect or measure finished parts with precision tools per quality plans.
• Maintain logs/records of units produced and rejected pieces.
• Inspect equipment pre-use and perform basic adjustments.
• Package or tote accepted parts accurately and label accordingly.
• Perform first piece, hourly, and final inspections; record pass/fail.
• Complete product identification labels and affix to product.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
