Job summary

Greif is seeking an Operator to operate routine production machinery in accordance with prints and specifications. You will carry out activities to produce the required quantity of parts within specifications and tolerances, and maintain logs of units produced.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and up to 2 years of relevant experience. You should be willing to work in a team, interpret job specs, and learn production equipment quickly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with up to 2 years related experience.
• Willingness to work in a team and follow directions.
• Basic understanding of production equipment and ability to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Operate routine production machinery per prints and specs.
• Ensure produced parts meet quantity, specs and tolerances.
• Measure finished parts with precision tools and document results.
• Maintain logs of units produced.
• Report errors resulting in rejected pieces.
• Inspect equipment before use and perform basic adjustments.
• Keep work area clean, safe, and orderly.
• Follow safety regulations and perform other duties as assigned.
