Job summary

Goodwill Industries of South Florida is seeking a Product Packer to perform manual operations such as marking, tagging, labeling, folding, sorting, and visually reviewing products to segregate them. You will assist the Packing supervisor and the Shipping supervisor in related duties, including replenishment of boxes and liners and moving work from QC tables.

The role requires attention to work instructions, accurate product sorting, and ability to prepare items for final boxing and palletizing.

Responsibilities

• Verify that all products being processed are sorted adequately according to work instructions.
• Segregate those products that ARE NOT part of the bundle to be processed.
• Verify that all the trimming, when applicable, is associated with the products that are being processed; such verification includes—but is not limited to —NSN numbers, sizes, MO numbers, contracts, and permethrin treatment labels.
• Continue with the next operation(s), if applicable, until the product is ready to be placed in boxes for final packing and palletizing.
• All other duties as assigned.
