Job summary

Multi-Color Corporation (MCC) is seeking a Press Operator to produce premium labels and uphold strict quality and safety standards across the production line. This role requires operating Nilpeter or Galas presses, performing make-readies, and conducting quality checks in line with customer specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of printing press operator experience or training.
• Experience with Nilpeter or Galas presses is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to all plant and corporate safety rules, procedures, and guidelines.
• Reports safety concerns to supervisor.
• Maintains clean and safe work environment through daily housekeeping.
• Performs make-ready to ensure correct print cylinders, inks, substrates, tooling, and anilox rollers.
• Conducts quality checks: product specs, color, and registration, and ink adhesion.
• Operates press to meet customer specifications while maintaining quality, waste, and efficiency.
• Inputs data into GlobeTek system for material usage and time.
• Completes press make readies efficiently and conducts maintenance as needed.
• Cleans plate, cylinder, ink pans, and lubricates press.
