Cleveland-Cliffs’ Bowling Green, Kentucky facility is seeking a Press Operator to operate tonnage presses and produce quality parts. You will handle decoilers, feeders, conveyors, PLC-controlled equipment and perform Quick Die Changes with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate has 2 years of machine experience, can stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs, and is able to work a flexible shift in a fast-paced environment. We offer competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifikationen

• 2 years of machine operations/work related experience.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift 23 kg (50 lbs).
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Able to work flexible shift times.

Aufgaben

• Operate tonnage presses and other PLC controlled equipment.
• Perform Quick Die Change per Q.D.C. procedure with minimal supervision.
• Use measuring and inspection devices to ensure accuracy and document findings.
• Troubleshoot for poor quality product and report damages.
• Apply lean-manufacturing principles to improve process capability and reduce costs.
• Maintain and improve housekeeping in the work area and meet production targets.
