Job summary

GNS North America, Inc. is seeking a skilled operator for its 2nd shift to run automatic or semi-automatic presses and support stamping, laser cutting, and assembly processes.

You will set up equipment, follow blueprints, perform quality inspections, and help ensure on-time production with focus on safety and accuracy. The role requires strong attention to detail, a good work ethic, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced metalworking environment with high temperatures and humidity.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have strong attention to detail and a solid work ethic.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes in a metalworking environment.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints and production work orders.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate presses that may be mechanically or computer driven to produce parts.
• Perform blanking, bending, punching, forming on various materials per blueprints.
• Follow control plans and conduct in-process inspections.
• Document required quality inspections and data as per plan.
• Read and interpret production orders; operate and adjust equipment accordingly.
• Maintain and calibrate gauges, load materials, and remove finished parts from dies.
• Record daily paperwork and use computers for data entry.
• Identify and handle non-conforming products and scrap.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety in a 5S work area; ensure quality standards.
