Job summary

Olympic Steel is seeking a Press Brake Operator to support safety, quality, and efficiency initiatives while meeting customer requirements. You will set up and operate power-press brake equipment to bend and form metal per work orders and specifications.

You will also perform quality checks, follow ISO and QS-9000 procedures, and help maintain a clean, safe work area across shifts, ensuring timely production and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience operating power-press brake machines and setting up tooling.
• Ability to read specifications and interpret work orders.
• Familiar with gauging and measuring with micrometer and templates.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate power-press brake machine to bend, form, or straighten material as specified by work order.
• Satisfy quality, quantity and delivery requirements in a safe manner.
• Perform quality checks and participate in preventive actions.
• Follow ISO procedures and QS-9000 guidelines as applicable.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and communicate safety concerns.
