Job summary

CompleteStaff is seeking a shop laborer to operate a table with an overhead crane, loading and unloading large steel plates, and keeping the work area clean. The role requires basic technical aptitude and the ability to read a tape measure.

You will use a built-in computer to operate the table, set up parts, and assist teammates with morning stacking and loading tasks. Lifting up to 50 pounds and continuous labor are part of the job.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read a tape measure.
• Able to work with overhead crane for large steel plates.
• Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds.
• Good teamwork and communication in a fast-paced shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Self-load and unload the table using overhead crane for large steel plates.
• Operate the table using built-in computer and set up parts; be technically inclined.
• Clean parts and table daily.
• Assist coworkers in morning stacking steel tubes and loading trucks.
• Other shop labor requirements while the table is running.
