Qualifications

• Ability to stand, stoop, bend, kneel, and work in tiring positions.
• Ability to lift, carry, and set up parts and equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Familiarity with painting materials, solvents, adhesives, and coatings.

Responsibilities

• Paints surfaces (wood, metal, glass, synthetic, concrete, and others) with coating materials.
• Interprets written materials, rules, regulations, and technical instructions and applies them to painting tasks.
• Plans and lays out routing painting activities from building plans, blueprints and sketches.
• Selects proper equipment and tools to apply paint and protective coatings and uses spray compressors and related equipment.
• Prepares and repairs surfaces and installations to receive paint; installs and maintains walls and wallpaper as needed.
