Job summary

Amcor LLC in Muscatine, IA is seeking a packer/handler to ensure containers and lids are manufactured and packaged according to Amcor quality standards. The role requires inspection for quality, assembly of gaskets and handles, flame-curing when needed, and precise labeling.

You will work in a fast-paced facility with opportunities to assist with material handling and general duties as assigned. Prospective candidates should be comfortable with repetitive tasks, able to lift up to 25 pounds, and

Qualifications

• Keeps up with fast-paced production cycles.
• Able to read, write and communicate in English (preferred).
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds safely.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Inspect product to ensure quality and set aside substandard items.
• Monitor molds for irregularities or sticking and alert supervisor of issues.
• Assemble products by installing gaskets and handles as required.
• Flame containers and lids as needed; stack and pack per customer instructions.
• Label products and assist with material handling as needed.
• Clean up during downtime and complete required paperwork.
