Job summary

DWYER INSTRUMENTS, LLC is seeking a detail oriented Packer to join our South Bend, IN shipping team. You will verify orders, assemble and securely pack products, and prepare cartons with labels and necessary documents for shipment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1+ years in a warehouse, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance. Training for pallet jack operation is provided and opportunities for growth are available.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED completed.
At least 1 year of warehouse experience.
Able to operate a pallet jack (training provided).
Able to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance.
Able to stand for extended periods.
Proficient with keyboard and mouse for data entry.
Strong counting and sorting skills and instruction reading ability.

Responsibilities

Receive carts and cartons from Pickers containing products ready for shipment.
Verify and count product quantities against the order; accuracy matters.
Assemble cartons and pack products with appropriate packing materials and certificates.
Seal cartons with tape and apply labels, documents, and markings.
For export orders, complete packing slips and include proforma invoices.
Export Packers may stack cartons on pallets and record weight/dimension data.
