Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a Warehouse Selector to accurately pick, stage, ship and receive product in a fast-paced environment at our Kentucky facility. You will operate material handling equipment and assist in inventories, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role emphasizes precision, teamwork, and dependable performance in daily warehouse tasks. Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED and some pallet jack experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months pallet jack experience preferred.
• Must be able to get NFI certified on electric pallet jack.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
• Effective customer service skills and basic math competencies.

Responsibilities

• Operates all material handling equipment safely and efficiently, following established work practices and safety procedures.
• Possesses basic understanding of equipment safety and adheres to all safety protocols.
• Completes and documents required pre-operation inspection forms for equipment.
• Loads and unloads freight in an efficient, accurate, and safe manner.
• Moves product to designated storage areas using appropriate material handling equipment; stacks and stores merchandise in assigned locations.
• Picks customers orders, assembling various types of merchandise for shipment.
• Processes orders including picking, checking, sorting, consolidating freight, wrapping pallets, packing, loading, and completing shipment confirmations
• Verifies freight accuracy and checks for damage or infestation
• Assists with physical inventories and cycle counts as needed
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times
• Performs sanitation duties as assigned
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by the role and determined by management
