Job summary

Eyemart Express is seeking an Optical Lab Technician to cut, edge and create prescription lenses in our fast-growing optical lab network. You will read prescriptions, select materials, and ensure lenses meet exact specifications for timely glasses delivery.

We value accuracy, basic lab skills and a willingness to learn; previous optical industry experience is a plus but not required as training is provided. Eligible candidates enjoy competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have basic lab skills and be able to read and follow technical manuals and protocols.
• Experience in a lab or technical setting is preferred.
• Experience in the optical industry is a plus but not required, training provided.

Responsibilities

• Lab Work: identify and operate basic optical laboratory equipment, tools, supplies and materials.
• Consistently meet hourly deadlines for finishing jobs.
• Maintenance: keep lab area and equipment safe and organized; perform routine maintenance.
